FERRBEAR is excited to announce its opening with a new approach to providing marketing, branding, communications, business development, public and media relations, website, and graphic design support to businesses, public school districts, and public figures. By utilizing comprehensive research and analytical techniques, FERRBEAR identifies a client’s conceptual image and evaluates brand performance, tailoring the client’s story to resonate with unique target audiences. With interest in client partnerships in industries such as supply chain distribution and manufacturing, healthcare, retail, mortgage, banking, finance, custom home building, sports & fitness, service, and various other businesses, FERRBEAR seeks to find new solutions to help clients meet their goals and discover their greatest potential. An advocate for public education, FERRBEAR has also established a monthly partnership opportunity for public school districts to contribute expertise as an additional resource for superintendents and communication departments in strategic planning, branding, and project/campaign implementation initiatives.

“At FERRBEAR, we have a passion for supporting businesses and school districts,” said D’Lee Marshall, Founder/CEO of FERRBEAR. “FERRBEAR will be a champion for our clients, making their goals our top priority. We will always go the extra mile to ensure client success.”

At FERRBEAR, we have a passion for supporting businesses and school districts. FERRBEAR will be a champion for our clients, making their goals our top priority. We will go the extra mile to ensure client success.

As the inspiration behind FERRBEAR, D’Lee Marshall, Founder/CEO of FERRBEAR, has been successful in her career with vast experience in a wide range of industries. She began her career in sales with companies such as Hunt-Wesson and the Campbell Soup Company, but soon transitioned into a 12-year career in the mortgage industry. As a mortgage broker, she specialized in working with new and emerging custom home builders and banks to develop a new approach to financing that expanded spec home footprints for builders.

With a passion for public education, D’Lee created the Pay It Forward (PIF) Project, a K12 curriculum-based initiative to inspire students to make a difference through their own ideas and action. The goal of the project was to teach students the ‘How’ in bringing dreams to life and teach them the rewards involved with community service. During that time, one fourth grade student wrote in an essay about her PIF experience, “Now and today, we can change the world. When your are a kid, you think, I can’t change the world; but you can, if you try!” The Pay It Forward (PIF) Project partnered with nonprofit organizations such as the Make a Wish Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House, Cook’s Children’s Hospital, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America, Defenders of Freedom, Texas Hearing & Service Dogs, Christ’s Haven For Children, Mission Metroplex, the Fort Worth Zoo Education, and Community Storehouse among others.

“I have always believed that each of us has the capacity to realize our dreams. The challenge is in discovering ‘How’ to make it happen,” said Marshall. “I have built a career exploring the ‘How’ and have designed a forward-thinking, strategic framework that represents the fundamentals in accomplishing it. With a team of incredibly talented experts, FERRBEAR will be the vehicle that allows many to reach their greatest potential.”

Through a collaboration with the Keller Independent School District, D’Lee conducted an analysis that studied the impact of meaningful engagement and community service on student learning. These efforts led her to work for nonprofit organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Keller ISD Education Foundation.

“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower,” said Dr. Jamie Wilson, Superintendent, Denton ISD. “Having known and worked with D’Lee for years, I have found her not to just follow where the path may lead; but she discovers new pathways, producing results for her clients far beyond their expectations.”

D’Lee served as Marketing Director, Brand Image Leader, and Associate while working at VLK Architects. During her time at VLK, the firm grew from two to five offices and won several design, marketing, and industry awards, including a recognition as a Fast Growth Company in DFW. She serves on the board of directors for Communities in Schools of Greater Tarrant County and is a member of the Texas School Public Relations Association.

“Working with D’Lee is an absolute pleasure. She is an expert in marketing and can make a complex branding design process innovative and fun. I worked with D’Lee on a design and branding project for my school district’s new high school. She was creative, hands-on, and passionate about ensuring our needs and wants were met during the process. Her leadership, organization, and compassion during the process were unmatched, and the result of working together will be a beautifully branded new high school for the students of our community,” said Kimberly Simpson, Director of Communications, Sherman ISD.
